It even had a square edge. Yes these are formica calacatta marble. The formica photos i think do not do their own product justice they are too cold. Marble countertops can be extremely pricey but laminate can give you the look without blowing your budget.

The last house i lived in a rental had a marble look alike formica counters. But in person the countertops are a very affordable way to get a nice clean light look no they are not marble but they are pretty. A laminate alternative is a better investment for us. We hope to use it in our kitchen sometime soon.

For faux stone patterns like marble and granite as i understand it they take a photo of an actual slab and that is what they use for the laminate so no worries about pattern repeats. I guess i thought they would have been proved done such a thing if they re going to make it look like marble going through all that.
