I can t find a porcelain tile similar to what i want.
It stains shows dirt and looks worse over time.
It seems like it is under the surface of the tile.
For deep set stains you may need to reapply paste.
I am afraid to try anything else.
Most marble comes that way but double check with the dealer when you re purchasing it or else no amount of cleaning will keep your materials pristine.
If there is a stain though we haven t yet had one in here i make a natural marble poultice from mixing baking soda and water to create a paste smear the paste over the stain and cover it with cling wrap to keep the poultice in place.
I thought it was soap scum at first but it is some kind of stain.
If water leaches into the tile it can cause the iron to rust.
To remove stubborn stains use a poultice paste.

I found some beautiful tumbled marble 2x2 tiles for my shower floor.
You see this most often on marble floor tile but certainly can occur on shower walls if water is getting behind the tiles providing enough moisture to leach into the marble tiles oxidize the iron deposits within the marble and carry the rusty water to the surface staining the tile.
